Hello. My name is Jacyln Lee. I am a Boston-based, media storyteller who likes to explore new places and try regional cuisine. I have always loved capturing culinary experiences and the feeling of a city, so naturally I became a food & travel photographer. Over the years I have taken up event photography, capturing playful candids and memorable video montages. These days I am putting my love of graphic arts and word puzzles to great use as a video editor and metadata curator for stock photography.
Every project is a unique and exciting tale waiting to be shared. When I curate videos, I partner with clip owners to deliver quality images with marketable metadata. I use Adobe Premiere Pro to apply color correction and color grading to achieve a rec709 look that stands out. For metadata, I seek out relevant keywords that not only describe what is seen and how it is captured but also what is felt. Moods, emotions, and phrases can also bring in prospective buyers. And when it comes to finally entering keywords, I list them in the order of importance and organize them into groups of related descriptive words to optimize for both stock agency weighting and customer readability.
To give my partners focused attention and provide quality research, I only take on up to 20 clips a week. After previewing clips, I usually ask a few questions to add more specificity to metadata. I also provide editing suggestions where needed if certain videos need additional tweaking before they are ready for curation. I welcome back-and-forth constructive feedback to help both my collaborators and I grow in our partnership.
Are you ready to partner up and tell your story? I would love to learn about the details of your project. I look forward to hearing from you.
